For fans of "Awake," "Six Degrees ..." etc .: Expected on this album is not the same! You might be disappointed! I was surprised, but pleasantly surprised. The album has a very dense, buzzing atmosphere and offers absolutely no way to get bored, because in contrast to "Awake" every song is different here than the other. Heavy riffs like in "Burning My Soul" and "Just Let Me Breathe" alternate with absolutely beautiful, almost too "sweet" ballads like "Hollow Years" and "Take Away My Pain". Also very interresting and instrumental very demanding tracks No.6 and 7 (The name I no longer mark) and the final piece. However, my favorite is "Peruvian Skies". Unlikely bleak it starts with the most wicked bass I have ever heard, is developing into a quiet, gloomy bright chorus, that's enough to goose bumps effects of Pink Floyd. The play goes on, however, and is more and more gloomy. Eventually, as the singer screams into the microphone "terror by night, Liar by day" is an unlikely hard guitar riff into play, which could be from the expert hand of a Ritchie Blackmore. And if you just listened to the first dark, very quiet sounds indulgent, you can now simply no longer sit quietly, without not to bang your head with full force. Fantastic!
