Annoying diodes error

After I had also bought the Control Unit together with Pit Stop Lane on Amazon to benefit other digital features, the joy was quickly marred. Even with my Control Unit, the diodes are so far out of the road, which with a hard to miss end strike (so loud that the broadcast signal (beep) was almost impossible to hear my vehicles!

Direct Email Contact (answer was already there the next day) resulted with Carrera, I should send the CU directly to Carrera. This would check them and repaired, but I should're feeling adventurous.

So even ran! REPAIR INSTRUCTIONS

1. diodes can thus not purely press because the diode holder already pushing against the bottom plate of the CU!
2. Remove CU, turn around and screw (Only the screws directly below the carriageway solve that need not be solved under the CU part. Even not the one screw under the warranty seal) ;-)
3. If you now a bit cautious the underbody of the CU around or bends up then the overhanging Diodes allow purely press.
4. Two small distance blocks, I have made of styrofoam inferior me cut from the Carrera basic package (Thanks to Carrera) (Lower panel of the CU and the road). Reassemble. Diodes are no longer present! ;-)
5. Installation in the racecourse and lo and behold it funtioniert perfectly without damaging warranty seal.

Duration Converted installation and removal of the CU, material and tool procurement, about 20 minutes. Writing this review has taken longer. ;-)

Now I can forgive it represented more stars for this product.
