"Unfortunately," my judgment is influenced by the fact that I actually - I think at least - all possessed by Tori Amos, what's so. As such extreme enthusiast I am, therefore, probably. not entirely objective.
To "Gold Dust" itself: Of course - as Dirk (my Vorrezensent) already mentioned - the support of the orchestra have something very special. Perfectly arranged, the pieces are all - and yet, in a certain way, everyone has experienced a change in title. When I got the CD before, so I - I'm totally honest - the first title # 5 ("Precious Things") alluded. And as with any live performance: Again, the song sounds very different again. I'm also a big fan of the artist "Loreena McKennitt": And how on a large video platform even a fan wrote to a video of just that Miss McKennitt: "You could sing the phone book down and I would listen." The same is true with me for Tori Amos.
"Gold Dust" is an absolute "must-CD" for all tori enthusiasts. Wonderful arrangements, grandiose interpretations ... just gorgeous.
What CD will be with me in the next few weeks in the player: I know it since noon today.
Oh: I have an addendum: "Dirk" wrote of Toris' development towards pure perfection. I can not understand this. As every human being is also Tori Amos older. That alone through the mental aging process their key concerns with their music, their will to bring over some emotions with her music, to change, this is for me a purely logical and very understandable.
Tori Amos is now 49 years old - actually I would like to hear from you today no more stories about her grandmother etc.. I think that's what makes them up to date and has made in recent years, very great.
