After the first listening to the album, this expectation is also confirmed: It's different! "Try" is still loyal to the previous sound, but also the single "Hold On" sounded much more like pop. And that's the whole album also: Very poppy. Colbies music had evidently adapt more mainstream sound, but does that automatically mean that this is bad? I say no. Content provides us Colbie still the same as before, it's just packaged differently. There are more beats and the album seems more produced than the previous ones. Unfortunately, just the (by me) very beloved guitar is missing almost everywhere. Despite all this, it is a good album.
Colbie manages despite the new sounds to spread good mood. Sure, the songs sound very different. Nevertheless, they are nice to listen to, Colbies voice is just still great. And with "Try" is the old sound and get some.
I would advise all fans to give the album a chance. Anders namely does not equal bad. And I as a fan of the first hour (for "Bubbly") still find pleasure in their music. New fans can also appeal to the album in my opinion, because it is easy through the commercial poplastige production. The star trigger there because I still mourn the old sound behind something. Despite all this, a solid pop album by a great artist.
UPDATE: After repeated listening to the CD like getting better. Therefore, a few Anspieltipps my part: Live It Up If You Love Me Let Me Go, Try, Just Like That and Country Called Far Away
