I have ordered this part time on suspicion because I an anti-siphon valve needed for my garden watering to force a draining of the hose behind the pump switched off, so that my tank is not completely idle. The valve could be used without problems in the garden hose 3/4 inch and secure with hose clamps. Now air entering the unpressurized hose and the tank will no longer run through the disconnected pump in the teiferliegende Beet. The product feature, the pressure in the drain hose would be reduced, I find somewhat misleading to use the term anti-siphon valve or anti-siphon Valse I find no mention.
