Antigone's worthy successor to

Often one reads in relevant webistes, Heaven Shall Burn have traded their melody infatuation against mere thrashing. Untenable nonsense. There may be people who do not understand that great melodies in higher speed ranges are quite possible. This should, however, review any deratigen panels, but remain better at Manowar and Hammerfall.

In the usual high quality, politics and emotion-soaked lyrics of guitarist and main songwriter Maik I will not go into here because inflationary press descriptions in detail, yet put any close to read them!

Shouter Marcus gives as usual an exception performance and penetrates into the appropriate moments, other than to "Antigone", sometimes in quite tiefeShouting / Growling-fields before what is reminiscent of "Whatever It May Take" and the current drive is quite.

There really are few bands in the hopelessly overworked genre of metalcore that make it a this very specific "Oh, how cool is that !?" To provide spine-tingling feeling.

HSB have the hang of it in this regard, and socialize with the handbrake and the same attention to detail on the grandiose predecessor "Antigone".

The really gratifying about this album is the fact that it is possible even after prolonged listening make no filler.

It is true: As described elsewhere tears "Counterweight" everything is torn apart what is not festbetoniert least, but carries as "Trespassing The Shores of our World" some of the best melodies and breaks that were heard by HSB ever. Stump thrashing? Wrong!

At the beginning of the riffing in "Profane Believers" is somewhat reminiscent grooving Slipknot, but changed soon to Grand Sweden Death. The Feist by battered Bridge also knows how to please. Courageous and, the wonderful production thanks be; wonderfully audible!

"Stay the course" is from the beginning all the stops and presents a classic Melodeath Reef, the double bass at once backed the Turbo. Again, Perfect Breaks, perfect Shouting.

With "The Final March" the epic middle part of the plate is eingeleutet. The melodies are more dramatic, the Groove dominant.

"Of No Avail", the best track on the album, weird of an incomparable, combative Eneergie Carried. The dominant Leads remind here apocalyptic Fanfahren which call for the greatest battle zwichen sincerity and malice. Simply unique. And in metalcore to emotion and Melodieverleibtheit hard to beat.

The counterpart to "Numbing the Pain" from the last album is "Armia". A striking reef runs through the slow, almost doomy song which concludes with a coherent Klavieroutro and perfect again serves as a counter-argument to the insinuation that HSB would just anno '06 only rely on blunt Gedresche.

"My best friends.com". Besides "Of No Avail" an absolute highlight of the album. The initial Groovebomabardement forms with the absolute catchy chorus and the strotzdenen before dynamic riffs the perfect symbiosis of what constitutes good Metal (-core).

With "Biogenesis" HSB put before a purebred Death Metal piece.

Extremely deep, hateful shout hung and almost inflationary Double Bass inserts form the core of the toughest tracks on this CD, which takes up the cudgels for the Conservation of Nature emphatically.

The malmende beginning of "Dying in Silence" is soon replaced by a short, very epic passage before again a breathtaking Riffomnster is let off the leash. With superb leads and the recurring, all-destroying riff the penultimate track rolls as another highlight among highlights the finish.

The only downer of the CD the last track "The Greatest Gift of God" must be called, seem whose strange transition Shouts bit dull, especially as the "message" "falseprophets rule your life" a bit flat appears in contrast to the rest of the lyrics in my opinion, ,
