"Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix" which I devoured in its American edition (publication of remarkable quality, by the way), is the culmination of the second cycle of Harry Potter started with "The prisoner Azkaban. " The two volumes that shape the first saga ordered the magical worlds of Harry and humorous. Everything was sprinkled with a originality to rival Merlin (the magician of the Round Table), and was impregnated with generous pinches of black magic powder ... Like the hero grows and matures, the second round of adventures of Prince Harry proposes to escape the beaten track of the fable and negotiate the turn of the novel. Ms. Rowling weaves complex relationships between characters equally endearing but more compounds, less Manichean. And "Order of the Phoenix" arrive at his first cries adolescence! The feelings alambiquent more: Harry Potter doubt himself and his friends, Harry Potter mood swings he does not understand or control, Harry Potter feels abandoned, isolated, misunderstood, Harry Potter feels (and is) ... manipulated The author had already conquered us by his talents as a storyteller. By integrating the first pangs of adolescence with the canvas weave adults around Harry, Joanna Kathleen Rowling reveals itself to be a great novelist. Harry, whose through with Voldemort is increasing dramatically, Harry struggles against slander of those magicians who belie, pretentious, snob who fantasized Voldemort's return. Despite a plot that seems (I mean it seems) held more than in the two previous volumes, the author succeeds again and to our great delight to captivate us from start to finish. One more page. One more chapter. Read the words. Know ... This fifth book contains another transformation size. If all the protagonists of the saga will meet the roles are momentarily redistributed. The novel is polarized on Harry and his addiction to Voldemort. Ron, Hermione, Hagrid, to name a few, play only passing roles, support, and do not really participate in the plot. On the other hand, characters that were thought accessories, Seamus, Neville, for example, turn out and bring a new grist to the mill of the mystery of the survival of Harry Potter and the murder of James and Lily Potter. It is impossible in so few words to cover all the good that we would like to say about this great novel, to me the best of the series. Two things are certain though: the Christmas holidays 2003 Francophonie will be serene and filled with the noise of the pages you turn, as we read, we like; As for me, I have already begun the long (?) Waiting for the publication of the sixth chapter ... At least in June 2004 should be marked by the theatrical release of "Prisoner of Azkaban" ... like appetizers.
