Apple MacBook Pro 15 "(Late 2011)

I must say that I really had my doubts at this memory. So this is my first serious review at all. To other MacBook users at least to take some skepticism.
For years I heard that Macs just extremely sensitive to third-party memory. Granted I also thought that Apple itself installed RAM of big brands. The 2 x 4 GB built-in memory bars Hynix do not fall in any case in my grid.

16 GB RAM are in any case the highest what the MacBook recognizes loud MacTracker. (16 GB SO-DIMMs, there are currently indeed not at all). So are 2 x 8 GB the greatest feeling and the price is really the hammer. In the item description, an additional appointment period is estimated two working days - delivery arrived a day earlier than expected. Shipped and packaged threw my Postman delivery into the mailbox - the packaging is virtually an Amazon box for CDs. The storage latch themselves anyway once in a PVC packaging.

For those who do not even dare RAM in a MacBook exchange, which I recommend times on YouTube just for 'macbook pro 2011' to look. Already the first results show a memory exchange.

The memory has been installed in minutes and works. That is now a good two weeks and I can say here calms and good conscience a buy recommendation.

To improve performance: Many believe that a Mac with a higher memory capacity is faster. But does not really. The Mac does not start up more quickly and programs also does not start much faster, this is the Mac probably primarily the hard drive responsible (keyword: Solid State Drive). The advantage is, however, clear when multi-tasking. With 2 x 4 GB already jerked a film when I unpacked the same great data. With 16 GB is over the. Furthermore, I use Adobe programs. InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop does not start faster, but the operations have been faster.
