Packaging: If sending a disk I expect a bubble wrap, and not just a sort of cardboard envelope.
Product: HAMMER! I could not imagine that the speed difference is so huge to me in advance. The Samsung 840 EVO is compared to the old HDD (Hitachi | 750GB | 7200 RPM) less than half the weight and fit with millimeter precision. The conversion went amazingly fast (max. 10 min). After installation I have the SSD formatted and restored via Time Machine the last backup (350 GB). I had only doubts whether I should play all the old installation scrap or re-re-set the system little by little. Due to time constraints I have, however, decided to use the backup version. The restoration took about 4 hours but the wait was worth it ... since it says. Rock 'n' Roll ...
