Customer Review

In the coastal town of Paradise Cove, not far from Rocky Beach, to weird things happening. An eerie man gets almost like on a ladder from the bay and just disappears again. It reported any case of young Colin Salas his father Harry. He has Mrs. Harkinson (see. "The dead monk") learned that Justus, Peter and Bob are specialized in such cases, asking the three question marks for help. Which of course are immediately interested and come on site to a creepy and tragic legend which shrouded the bay and especially the old lighthouse there. Meanwhile, new residents, the writer Mr. Cristobal any case seems to know of some comical incidents. However, the conversation is suddenly interrupted. Then, when namely the small Fiona disappears on the beach and - after a large-scale search operation - is totally scared rescued from a cave on the banks, there is increasing evidence that Colin was not lying, and something is rotten condense. Perhaps the oblique, boozy Seebär Jimmy Blue Eye can contribute in the port tavern something to clarify, but the babbling only in dark riddles of the "Devil's Tooth" -Klippe, a ship called the "Cassiopeia" and a doctor who has to anything guilt. Perhaps a vengeful spirit that roams there? And what is the role of the rich art collector Goodstein and his daughter Vanessa, at their coastal property the boys watch an intruder on the run and can almost make?

Impressions

The case of the three detectives 171. 2013 saw the public eye. Marco Sonnleitner invented the story again takes place on the coast and has a ghost story on the subject. So far so good - it can certainly cobble together a good story. Not that this yarn would einheimsen innovation awards, because the elements are painfully familiar and work - where we are just putting together - like the Three - taken Story Toolkit - ???. However, that has been enriched with other props. Only one has somehow the little deja vu with the case "The Red Pirate" and "The sinister dragon" what then but then everything manifests itself differently there. But largest Parallel likely John Carpenter's - his "The Fog The Fog". Antonio Bay instead of Paradise Cove, "Elizabeth Dane" instead of "Cassiopeia, lighthouse, fog, and (here, at least, of course, supposed) vengeful revenants, all reminiscent of the cinematic horror classics of the eighties. In fact, the plot can now and then a nice atmosphere to build up. Unfortunately, these vaporized then in escalating dialogues and unnecessary turns. Here, the streamlined by André Minniger radio play even goes direct to plants than the original.

But a look at the list of speakers revealed a broad range of characters whose connection to each other to be first of all auseinanderklamüsern (leave) must, besides the radio play is in turn principally to concise, so that actually more confusion than clarity prevails, especially as the speaker vocally not are optimally separated. Disregarding Jimmy Blue Eye from one who does his job very well. In the end, a lot needs to be explained - of course Justus, who as usual (and very suddenly) has full Checkung. Realistic is different. In particular, the final twist is extremely bent into shape. Needless to say in this context that an independent elaboration of the solution of this case is impossible. Between music, sounds and intonation go but okay, the ensemble is experienced enough even those story-wise and structurally not very present on the level, after all einzuspielen templates without embarrassment and to make here and there exciting - even if this goes up quickly whistle again. One wonders at the end, true to the famous Herbert Grönemeyer title: "What are you doing ?!". And this question is entirely justified.

Conclusion

The few moments when actually the tension is built up, which will bear the principle interesting Gespenstergarn well be through the entire bustle of figures and suddenly changing directions strikes which the plot, thwarted smooth. For the atmosphere, this is of course pure poison, although technically considered everything was done correctly. Music, sounds and speaker fit, but does not quite skip the spark. Although the final resolution of the relatively tangled case may quite unexpectedly - in the sense of the public can never come by itself it since - be, the showdown seems but very badly designed and crammed. Higher, faster, further? What makes this more recently observed naughtiness, as much as possible to pack in a story that also arises - there skin classically not go:, reached wanted too much too little. Except that the inclined listener after scratching the head. It is not enough simply to roll proven elements together to make a liquid story out of it. The Pitschnasse reviewer thumb points in the depths of the sea.
