The band formed in 2007 in London and now therefore, stands for a first demo, the debut "Aquarius" in stores.
Beneath the surface, one should also here move, let the music time, so could set similar sensations possibly, as described above. Are a while Antesten the many stylistic elements may still be in the way, it can be seen quite quickly, what beautiful bow is braced here. Basically relaxed aligned, but provided with all kinds of driving rock, this album has become a modern plaything of the musical elements.
Whether DREAM THEATER (the quieter, elegiac guitar harmonies or the quiet voice), MAGELLAN (in the long-drawn syllables of words and the choir-like vocals), SAGA (the progressive middle parts of some songs, as if Saga rocking out), some IQ ( in the keyboard sounds), light SPOCK'S BEARD school (when you start to frickeln) etc.
The music is very colorful, as you can see from the participating musicians and guests have - often you can feel a slight form of melancholy.
The sound is very dense, determined by variety and surprise.
You can find in the middle of a sudden ProgEpos jazz-like descents, Metal thrusts including growls, lyrically poetic moments, circus or carnival atmosphere and much more.
The church organ in conjunction with a deep, rumbling vocals before again gentle guitars and wide keyboard sounds take over, in the song "Streams" is just great.
All this is held together by elegiac guitars, keyboards wide, a warm bass and drums perfectly accentuated. The very soulful singing is okay, but could in the future like to be even more voluminous, more secure and powerful.
Nevertheless, this is here a small grab bag of epic prog, or, the modern interpretation of sprawling rock music.
And so I take this band happy with, on a conceptual trip around "AQUARIUS"
the permanent in about 16-minutes final epic "Celestial Elixir" then logically also culminates - together with a fantastic gods melody in the chorus - the tongue clicking.
The epic, the theatricality - - but also beautiful melodies in singing and instrumentation - here all trademarks of the band apparently once again peace and power together.
Finally seems important to mention that through the different styles and the escalating composition is not as quick sets a fatigue in the songs.
Again and again I find myself that the mermaid in the CD player rotates ...
CONCLUSION
From much of making something of their own -
This works extremely well on the band's second ear
If the singer is the next album may increase again,
awaits us surefire SOON-TO-BE-CLASSIC
