So why only three stars?
For one simple reason: I actually had wanted (or equivalent, thick Borosilikatmensur) a Pyrex-scale, however, was given to these WMF measuring cup. War, as has been written, skeptical because of the low wall thickness and just the thin transition from the wall to the floor. Today, then the scraping of butter versions solved (with a narrow spatula, silicone), a corner of the ground and flew out effectively. Without any effort on my part!
Fortunately the pieces landed outside my yeast dough, which I would otherwise have to dispose of.
ONLY for liquids is the measuring cup certainly suitable, but it is obviously critical, once you have to help to rauszubekommen the content. I am aware that other cup can certainly last for years and individual products (due to lack of quality control?) May be under too much stress and then can suddenly and unexpectedly burst. Glass is and remains unpredictable!
Conclusion: Full marks there is for the measuring performance and temperature resistance for heating, deduction of points, but for the small material thickness and the apparently poor quality control.
To explain my headline: you prefer to buy a pyrex scale or other comparable thick Borosilikatmensuren. The there is the same price, but keep significantly more of both in terms temperature, and when it comes to kitchen tools within the scale.
