... Where Jarre - album "Rendez - Vous" of 1986. I personally am doing something hard with this album and may not necessarily share the euphoria of many other reviewers so. A Jean Michel - Jarre will have to probably always, measure, to his most successful albums, like "Oxygene", "Equinoxe" "Magnetic Fields" and so on. Goods said albums yet very innovative and ahead of its time, JMJ lacks precisely these virtues on this production. Of course, the pieces are also on this album usual orchestral therefore and I do not want to talk bad everything, because even here there are quite nice to hear passages. Especially the musical theme of "First Rendez - Vous", which is also from the middle of the track "Second Rendez - Vous" repeated pleases me personally really good. Also "Third Rendez - Vous" and especially "Last Rendez - Vous (Ron's Piece)" I find it very successful - two very melancholy pieces, the latter of which is dedicated to the American astronaut Ron McNair, who with his entire crew when Challenger - disaster on 28 January 1986 lost his life and wanted to play this piece during his stay in space on his saxophone. Nevertheless, this album acts, viewed as a whole, somewhat superficial, sometimes here and there to incoherent even to me. Can I at JMJ - albums such as "Oxygene" and "Equinoxe" until today correct in these great sounds "immersion", I succeed in this album as good as not at all. Sure, really bad this album is actually not, but maybe not's special ... But ultimately music is just always a matter of personal taste. And that's just as well...
