I myself would describe myself as ambitious amateur photographers describe the photographs have been a good 25 years. Entering the new camera was not very difficult after I had familiarized myself with the menu and the options it was already going on. Many shots in different lighting conditions (day, night, twilight, artificial light), in the 2nd week I was invited to a wedding, to test the ideal Parcour extensively around the part.
I do not want to play all the details of the camera now, is everything in the product description. So here's my impressions shortly after 3 weeks:
+ The processing of the camera is very good for this price range, the kit lenses act against something cheap.
+ For me, the camera is very comfortable to hold
+ The absolute highlight is peaking at Manuelen Focus
+ The swiveling LCD screen is not a must, but incredibly convenient
+ The electronic viewfinder is absolutely no disadvantage
+ The supplied lens 55-200 offers very good color reproduction and very good sharpening
- The supplied kit lens 18-55 offers no special sharpening, the images look a bit dull
- The battery does not last as long as with other manufacturers (without electronic viewfinder.), So a second battery is a must. Nevertheless, the battery reaches 450-500 images.
Conclusion: This Body I would buy immediately, compared to my Bridge the images are much stronger and sharper. For indoor sports photography (Bowling) you have the Bridge without flash no chance, the A57 offers here due to the fast continuous shooting and high ISO sensitivity significantly more. However, I would in future only buy the Body and 18-200 invest the saved money in a good "Always top" of Sigma, the sharpening in the wide-angle are much better at the telephoto end (100mm) I can not detect any differences to the kit lens.
