The delivery was accustomed quickly. The app allowed to install and actually manages to trigger the camera. So far so good.
The following deficiencies were found by me, which led to the immediate return:
1. HDR bracketing come rarely. In most cases, the Triggertrap made the recordings, namely until I (! Removing the cable) must stop them manually. This, even though the number of trips was preset. The images were all exposed equal !!!! This can probably at an exposure series is not the case. Incidentally, the Triggertrap has problems with high shutter speeds in Bracketing (below 1/15), which provides the capability for high-iso-bracketing with correspondingly high shutter speeds in question. In order for the Drops was actually sucked, but it should get even better ....
2. The app moves the display brightness of the iOS device after tripping down a minnimum. What are you doing, do not open up to me. I just only wondered why after each completed application, the display was so dark and I had to lighten on the system setting. We tested an iPhone 5 and iPad 3, and in both cases this defect was found.
3. Then there is the WiFi controller, 2er especially in combination iOS devices in the WLAN and if necessary. via the personal hotspot could be a real help. Unfortunately, I never managed to pair these devices via the App as described. The "slave" was displayed each correctly but could not control himself. Have all possible variants with iPhone / iPad tasted own WiFi / Personal Hotspot .... Nothing!
I believe that the main problem is the abysmal App. But what I need then a cable when I have a much better cable release for a pure remote tripping ???
On the plus side is that the full version of the app from the iTunes Store is now available free of charge, otherwise I should probably there still run after my money.
Good idea, lousy implemented!
6, setting !!!
