And now comes the big BUT. Ubisoft has the gameplay basics and simply botched the game in my opinion two months released too early.
1. The control - is much more nervous than in previous parts due to the increased possibilities for interaction. Some of them work perfectly. Sometimes you staring in disbelief at the television and wonder whether what you see really just self-control. On the whole, ACU can be significantly worse than control in previous parts. Partly targeted taxes is simply not possible. Incidentally, I have until now played all AC parts.
2. The frame rate - in a nutshell, partially acceptable but in sum just miserable. This publisher and the team you can not bring something very simple. In churches partially slideshow or correct hanger and on the streets in Massenaufläufen knees is that it is no longer playable. Sometimes I got headaches after 1h because the frame rate is unstable. There is an urgent need here is a patch, and indeed for all versions.
3. The Bugs partly quite funny, partly but so blatant that only a reboot of the PS4 (or the game) has helped. Here is my Best Of:
- Snagging in a hay wagon during the jump animation, no response to any command: reboot
- Geglitcht On the descent of the Church in Ville de Versailles through the ground and flew into nirvana: reboot
- Game crash when fleeing from xxxx (Spoiler) was back on the OS, restart
- Do not load the subterranean space (ie wall textures etc.) with the first entering the xxxx (spoilers) - hiding: reboot
Just to put in relation. These are the first 3 hours in the game where I had 4 times restarting. And that's just my experience. Others have even more tilted bugs. Some players have none at all. Completely arbitrary.
To put it with points 2 and 3 on the point. The game lacks clear development time and again time for quality control. 2 months late release had worked wonders. But unfortunately so is profit in the holiday shopping season on the quality of their own product. That should give pause to Ubisoft. As an overall package, the game would have so much could have been better if there had been only a little more time. Completely unnecessary deliver such a great game with these errors and the lousy framerate. Maybe Ubisoft should reconsider the annual publication principle.
For that reason, only three stars. I'm not going to improve if it is nachgepatcht. Something must be working (except for some minor bugs) in such a marketing-supported game, the markets with the publishers it as a Christmas blockbuster, from day 1!
