Very good method to learn Japanese. Too bad that many have still not understood the principle of the Assimil method. To resume the comment "semioden" who think the method "proceeds down common sense", I would say that these are all the other methods that "proceed down common sense!" PERSON never learned his mother tongue starting with an alphabet a syllabary study or characters. We ALL started hearing and seeing words, which represented or meant nothing out. It is only gradually that we have "assimilated" all this information. And that's what sets the Assimil method other methods. It is neither better nor worse than another, it's just different.
