The little touches have me but eventually moved to purchase the ME372CG.
Here in a nutshell, what I liked better on ME372CG:
+ No silver "ASUS" lettering on the touchscreen below
+ Loudspeaker top and bottom of the screen and not on the back
+ In white color available, ME175CG unfortunately only in black
What is great on both Tablets:
+ Both Tablets automatically update to Android 4.3 Jelly Bean after initial power.
+ Good size with a handy weight.
+ Battery life in my opinion really good
+ GPS receiver for navigation good
+ Front and rear camera is not outstanding, but certainly for videochat useful
Since I had the opportunity both ASUS Fonepads with a Nexus 7 in 2012 (1st Generation)
compare here the differences that spoke to me for the Fonepad:
First-generation Nexus has no rear-view camera and can not be used as a phone.
Despite Nexus with quad-core 1.2GHz processor not a big noticeable difference to the two
ASUS Tablets. Benchmakrwerte out Benchmarkwaeret ago. Ultimately, it is yet to
the personal field of application of the tablet. And here is my subjective feeling
Although a minimal difference in favor of the Nexus there, but it weighs the lack of rear camera and
and the phone function is not on.
What the Nexus can be very good, is a bright shining crystal clear display. Little better than the
both ASUS Fonepads, but also does not weigh again the lack of rear camera and
and the phone function on.
Pricewise all tablets were similar, however, there was the ASUS Fonepad ME372CG in my favorite color
know what taste is sure, but for me the design factor plays a major role.
My application is holiday at home and abroad, so the phone function for emergencies.
Main I use the tablet for navigation and viewing of holiday camera (digital compact camera)
which can be connected without problems via the OTG cable and can be viewed immediately on the tablet.
OTG cable is a super practical accessories.
