Mainly I bought this unit to it digitally with my MECABLITZ 48 AF-1
to use in the CLS system.
Camera setting: e3: Built-in flash / Master Control
So I can (2x external, 1x internal camera) with three flash units working simultaneously
and the Flashes very convenient control over the camera.
!!Please note!!
To the external flash units separate from each other to be able to control,
this Nikon on two separate groups (A and B) must be placed.
The MB44 AF-1 can not be placed on group B, because this is, fixed by the manufacturer to group A.
Therefore, the slave mode with Nikon CLS with two MB 44 AF-1,
with differing control of external flash units is not possible.
This requires a second flash unit that can be like the 48 AF-1 set to Channel B.
When in doubt, it is advisable to download the manual at Metzt and study them.
A word about the Guide Number
The Leitzahlangaben tremendous barley creators based on different requirements and are not as easy to assess.
To this end, there are some items in the nets.
Otherwise, the quality of the MB44 AF-1, as vonMetzt usual, very good.
The illumination is up to a focal length of 18mm is also very good.
Among them, one should beutzen a Bouncher, or flash indirectly.
I use NI-MH batteries with 2850mAh Ansmann keep depending on the shooting situation ever for 200 images.
Conclusion: Recommended
