What unfortunately is not apparent from the product description:
Since both of the two USB ports, as well as the card reader itself USB 3.0 compatible
are, a USB connection cable is not enough on the back. The connecting cable, the
The two USB 3.0 ports supplied directly, the blue colored mainboard connector.
For the USB 3.0 card reader, however, a connection cable USB-A connector me exists.
This cable has to be led out of the machine housing and on the back
of the computer to one of the (hopefully) existing and available USB ports again
be plugged.
Admittedly, this solution part of the manufacturer is less than optimal, but probably no different to
realiseren because the motherboards currently do not have a second USB 3.0 slot
directly on the board. To me anyway even none known.
Less great, I find that it does not hold the manufacturer, despite this artifice necessary,
an appropriately modified slot bracket (with cut-out for the herauszuführende
Cable) with the same be packed. That would have given the price but be in it - right?
Those who can not do without the number of USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 ports, but
well on the USB 3.0 card reader, I recommend the Akasa AK-ICR-16th
This has a USB 2.0 card reader, but is otherwise identical to the AK-ICR-17
and therefore does not require the USB-A connector of cable.
I have returned to my AK-ICR-17 card reader and bought the AK-ICR-16.
