Processing / feel:
Everything is perfectly assembled and fixed without gaps. I had previously the S3 and S4, the who were also well made. But to the S5 you can not get into. It fits comfortably in your hand and the back (finally Samsung!) Is not as slippery as that of the predecessor. About the design itself, I do not waste words here. Have had most Samsung smartphones, so no surprise.
Technology / Hardware:
I think, Nobody needs more. The S5 has everything on board that you can only get these days and it the best or fastest currently. 2GB Ram complained some users, may be too little. I doubt it. Because you have to be a hardcore gamer, the way all !!! Apps auto sync to bring the S5 to the limit.
Software:
Touchwiz is still not the last word. It offers numerous features to which you need or not, but this makes it inflates on Android and can have speed degradation. Can ... but not necessarily. If you apps from the startup takes's all good. My S5 runs and the new features of S-Health are great. Even the music player convinces me just as the browser has become faster again. I use Chrome since S5 little more.
Camera:
We come to the highlight of the smart phones: The camera. I am the effect spoiled (otherwise I would have maybe a HTC One bought) and wanted to improve the S5 towards the already good Cam of S4. What can I say: it has succeeded. My old Canon PowerShot 210 (three years old) is hardly used because the camera of the S5 is equal. Is fun and thanks 128GB SC-card that I use, I can also a lot less full HD movies turn without the space is scarce. In 4K I have not filmed that just brings me nothing and requires only unnecessary memory.
Battery:
Also an important point, because no one wants to invite in between. No Problem. I manage just under two days (in the morning to take the power and in the evening of the second day again hang the grid), though I do a lot of photos and two Facebook fan pages supervisor. The Ultra-Energy-Save mode I've tried yet no longer than 5 minutes, so I can not comment on that. But I think, even power users get through the day
Conclusion:
The performance is great, as are the processing and the camera. Everything else is a matter of taste, as well as the still very high price. Who wants to just technology at the earliest possible date to lie down a little more. Or you still waiting three or four months, and the S5 then perhaps already received for 449 or so. No matter what the Price: from me a strong buy recommendation.
UPDATE 20/04/2015: I've gotten so many annoying phenomenon on my S5:
The battery does not last as long, after initially loosely 2 days, sometimes 3, the battery lasts only about as long as that of my iPhone 6, which I use for business. 1 to 1.5 days ago.
In addition, various applications stuck with Android 5.0, sometimes even falter songs in the Music Player. Software itself is better with Android than 5 under Kitkat, but for the extremely powerful hardware is the S5 actually relatively slow. Let's see what's coming. Another problem: Bluetooth connection in the car often breaks off for no reason. Reconnection then manually without automatic dialing. That's annoying. Hope it there soon another update to correct this error.
