As always in the early albums RM's there but also songs that go beyond Glam. Sound-wise, and the arranged well at remarkably minutely is chance meeting 'that although according to liner notes no involvement Brian Eno's is seen, sounds just as if this is to warm up already for Bowie's Berlin trilogy.
A slight hint of Philly Soul - the Ferry was really good - is on this album but also listed as the white men's radio in the, Re-Make / Re-Model 'resonates.
The Beatles cover is well prepared for the 70, but not sensational, and may in the ballads a crooner like Ferry anyway not go wrong.
The title song, Shame, Shame, Shame '(the Austrians, particularly in Eastern Railway Kurtis version as, mosque, mosque, mosque' know), The Price Of Love 'and' Casanova 'are knotless glam rock, but at a very high level. The latter indicated to glam rock could sound like if it had been provided with a generous helping of lasciviousness, that of the teenager to Twen phase matured would.
The songs are very well chosen and very much here is the slowly developing abducted Blues-Pop from, Sea Breeze 'the rather late, almost erupted.
For me one of the best Roxy Music albums of the early phase. Accessing - fun.
