At the limit of the scam for that price ...

I use this device for my twins last few days. I acquired an additional camera (oddly not found on Amazon?).
We can not say it does not. Motion detection and noise is good and the device automatically switches from standby to active mode. But frankly, it stops there for about the positives.
Two cameras, no automatic switching: If baby was the last one displayed before the device goes to sleep, and 2 baby starts to cry or move, the display returns well in active mode but it still shows baby 1. To see Baby 2 must then navigate the camera's menu and select the camera 2. Not exactly convenient when it occurs X times a night and you're half asleep.
Especially as the ergonomics of the camera's setup menu is frankly reviewed. Beep does not disable you touch and not very discreet, not intuitive access to submenus of all, no rollovers.
The display of time and temperature are of another age, you'd think the first clock radios 80s ... with a complete set and the additional camera is exceeded 300 euros anyway ... any entry-level MP3 player for 49 euros a prettier display it.
From the temperature display, Matters: for me it was an important purchasing factor as summer home it is often hot upstairs and I wanted a way to track the temperature in the remote children's room. The temperature displays fine ... but it is false to about 5 degrees, no less! The probe still feels the room much warmer than reality, probably affected by the temperature of the camera itself, which runs on industry and quite warm. This kind of thing that can be observed and it is calibrated in the factory, usually, but apparently not at Tomy! It's really amateurish face such an obvious problem.

I do not understand that Amazon uses and authorizes the photo that shows the product as it is misleading as to the real image quality of the camera. While the screen is large and well babies are distinguished on the screen, but that's the level of a screen of black and white surveillance supermarket, even in daylight. One wonders, moreover, to what use the camera mode! No interest to have a monochrome photo of a plaid in silhouette shooting under not great angle.

For angles, it is also about: the only fastening system provided for the camera is made for wall mounting! One can also place it on a piece of furniture, it is also necessary that the stand is at a sufficient distance, at the right height and in the right axis, because the camera is not adjustable horizontally! For my part I have not been able to do better than to ask the precarious balance in camera on the bed frame in a corner, and secure it in place with double-sided tape.

Best of all, I have the distinct impression that the two cameras each cause interference. Having ordered the basic product on Amazon and the extra camera on another site, I started using the product with a single camera for a few days and everything was fine, the signal was good throughout the house, up under soilless from upstairs despite two concrete slabs and full of doors. Since I received the second camera and trendy, I regularly losses of signal, even just a few meters. And that the manufacturer announces that can connect up to 4 cameras, I can only imagine!

In short, the product too expensive for average performance, and many of the points put forward by the manufacturer within deceit: interference between cameras, very poor image in relation to what is displayed on the website and on the box, probe temperature with collects. A big disappointment over 300 euros!
