The equipment arrived in a plain cardboard box that had but perfectly adequate. The batteries were again sealed and each packaged in a separate carton.
With this still was a 1m long USB cable. Charger and batteries are only compatible with the GoPro Hero4!
What struck me immediately positive, was the weight of the charger. The flyweight comes at just 37 grams and has the dimensions WxHxD 68x24x52 mm. Thus, it is to make it easy to have perfectly in your pocket there.
Also positive is the micro-USB connector of the charger. Either you take the supplied USB cable and connect it to a computer, or you can use a battery charger for most smart phone manufacturers. Thus, it is no problem to charge the batteries without a PC into an AC outlet.
The charging process is indicated by 2 LEDs. The battery slot a LED the red, battery is being charged, or green, battery is fully charged, indicating.
For me, the charging time was approximately 1h. and 35min. for both batteries. I think a battery is also not load faster, but has not been tested by me.
What struck me at the White batteries that the pull-out flag looked much more robust than the original battery from GoPro.
The duration of the batteries turned out for me pretty well. The original battery (already repeatedly charged and discharged) managed on my test about 56 minutes. The white battery at just under 53 minutes. only slightly behind those of GoPro.
But a subjective battery difference of about 3 min. can ignore you when you take 90 Euro needs to invest only about 23 euros with GoPro, if you buy 2 batteries with charger from Weiss.
