1) objection your honor! (Recalibration of some negative reviews)
- Fixation is very safe, sorry for the one who has lost the way. I did all kinds of tests, shock and vibration ... I adapted horizontally on a metal plate at the counters, the tank bag to the handlebars amount too.
- Is enough light (which screen keep his exact colorimetry in the sun?). I made a kind of black pvc visor to maximize the results and for me. I add that in difficult cases sound guidelines are sufficient.
- The font size is very readable correctly (do not mount it on the front fender or buy glasses ...). I fixed mount a rubber tip and serves me as a stylus, so I can display QWERTY keyboard).
- The emission of sounds bluetooth set separately, not saturated at all (see manual: volume> mixer> Navigation> adjust +/- Ditto for Multimedia Master and generally what more.?).
- The speed of recalculating routes, and monitoring progress are the level of map detail required 3D display: so fast you drive into town like me, have "normal" in the setup card ...
- The French voice are pretty good. I prefer Virginia because I prefer the company of a woman, and especially the poor Sebastien finishes his sentences as if it was something stuck in a door.
2) which may displease (not very objective, however ...)
- The interface is a little outdated, not very "up to date" as we say in modern French. The display and symbols are a bit outdated, style children's toys, yeah, well, we made it ...
- Garmin downloads and info site requires calmness and concentration. I think it is very comprehensive and well done, but I started and I find it a little scary Garmin Basecamp ...
- The price of accessories and components as usual '. Eg battery. But to replace a battery shows that it is replaceable ... is still better than the built-in batteries that make our disposable cameras.
3) what decided me directly (no more goal ...)
- Full range of attachments and accessories (carrying case, AC adapter ... see nomenclature)
- Use patterns (pedestrian bonus)
- The complete parameterization, intuitive and quickly accessible.
- Mp3 player (Bach and the Beatles in the Alps without additional device or hassle of batteries or battery ... !!)
- The computer screen (compass, altimeter, contact information, medium, distances etc. on the same display screen)
- 4GB memory card included original (much of Bach and Beatles maps and more ...)
Amazon has the good taste and loyalty to pass on the manufacturer price cut. The delivery has been remarkable. Packaging and perfect preparation. All this, we were already used to it, but it deserves to be repeated.
