atmospheric light - even without decoration

Just a great idea. Through the thick, uneven glass, the light is emitted in varying degrees of intensity. This looks very pretty. Have the sun Glass of receipt simply placed on the window (sunny) and turned on in the evening at dusk, to see how long it will light.
