All my batteries and charging cables have 4mm this connection, the plastic plug does not fit in there. With Milimetermaß follows that the red housing is jeweil 0.5mm smaller. The case is therefore likely to fit only 3.5mm.
The gold connectors themselves are 4mm, but very bad for soldering.
Normal is where the cable is angelotet a small round opening where you can tuck the soldering iron, the connector then heated about 30-40 sec. In a Löthalterung, good fill of solder top and can plug the cable into the same liquid solder. Lötkoblen out, blow little, within 1-2 seconds. Accesses the solder and you have a perfectly soldered cable.
And as an absolute Lötanfänger! I can not really even stand soldering, but the system is foolproof ;-)

Only this small opening is missing the gold connectors. Although is possible to heat the gold connectors from outside with the soldering iron, but very poorly. And the likelihood that goes wrong is very high. On my first attempt, the cable was angelotet to obliquely whereby the case did not go over it. Unfortunately, I noticed too late that the red housing does not fit.
Saves you the trouble and ordered others who have this soldering opening and accompanied by a real case.
