Hello There. As already recognized properly by the previous speakers, a conversion from a digital (DVI-D) signal to an analog (VGA) can not by adapters work, but only by "active converter". Nevertheless, the statements, the thing was just a paperweight not quite right, because it can work if: the DVI-D output on the Board or the GraKa does not comply with the DVI specifications while analog signals to other pins when given transfers. This special case there especially with older devices, exactly for such devices, this adapter is suitable, but because it analog signals, bringing back into the correct position for the VGA cable, the (otherwise specified). This feature MUST be but mentioned in the specifications of the terminal, as a clear indication had heard it in the description here. So Attention! Make sure to look in the manual (and not all too much hope have) before you decide to order such an adapter. M. Dietze
