This protection is effective and of good quality, however it is rather difficult to implement and to position perfectly the first time. Despite a thorough cleaning of the screen, micro-dust have successfully entered (probably by static electricity) between the display and protection, thus producing microbubbles. More then possible to remove them because they stick to protection. So I would advise to make bare arms or topless in a room cleaned of dust (vacuum cleaner, anti-static cloth spent on the table) and still guide the adhesive side of the protection down for the duration of the manipulation (to avoid potential dust impacts on the face) if we want to have a perfect screen. Fortunately I have not dropped my iPhone 5S so I know whether this protection is effective against shocks (hopefully never have to experience it) however I can assure that it is very effective against scratches and fingerprints. She obviously hampers the unit. The button aluminum protection is inadequate for the iPhone 5S, since this button is used for fingerprint recognition. I would like to order a second to perform, with experience, an establishment completely free of dust, but the high price of this article dissuades me.
Finally, following my complaint, Amazon graciously made the exchange of this product. I just got it and put it in place taking infinite care to the dust level (see above). Besides a micro-bubble at one of the edges (almost invisible), the screen is now completely free, OUF! So I am fully satisfied but I maintain my opinion and my advice: if you are clumsy or if you have poor eyesight, unless you do not mind having a few bubbles on your screen, this is not done for you (or ask then do it by meticulous and clever person).
