Attila - This is quite big Verdi !!!

It is really incomprehensible why this country does not bring this Verdi opera performed. Already from the first listen, the plant has developed as one of my favorite Verdi operas. This opera is Verdi at its best, very great Verdi. This music is a real feel-good music, so spirited that you want to resonate to the beat and it has a great solemnity.
And this opera is just amazing and perfect in this recording. This fantastic Royal Philharmonic Orchestra under the Verdi specialist Lamberto Gardelli. They make music a wonderfully sumptuous Verdi. The cast brings together four of the greatest Verdi singer. Ruggero Raimondi in the title role of Attila, Sherrill Milnes, Cristina Deutekom and Carlo Bergonzi. One needs about them nothing to write, you have to experience and enjoy.
This CD recording of Verdi's Attila deserves more than 5 stars. It is a must for any fan of Verdi. And everyone Verdi lovers should know this. You will love it.
