Taken together, that's probably the explosiveste mixture which has experienced in recent years, the rock history. And the debut is the right form completed the test. Not a single failure, not even a faint minute can be found on this CD, when surely bounce musical worlds clash, but complement each other in an indescribable way.
The biggest difference to the old RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE CDs, of course, singing. Chris Cornell sings each verse with so much fervor and passion that it's hard not to be swept away. In addition, the texts are clearly depoliticized and impress more by the personal touch. RATM fans are of course the rape of Zack de la Roccha miss, but this could of course compared to CORNELL never really sing, thus opening up at AUDIOSLAVE completely different possibilities for the band, because otherwise the rest of the musicians had simply wanted a new rapper and carried on as Rage Against the Machine.
This debut is really still the conglomerate of music of Rage Against the Machine and the song of Soundgarden. On the following albums the four musicians created then still more their own style. Nevertheless AUDIOSLAVE one of the best debut albums of all time. Here agree hardness and harmony, ambition and reality coincide perfectly.
