I have for my Canon EOS 350D, the Tamron 90mm macro and the Tamron 18-270 F / 3.5-6.3 Di II and both fit the rings. The 18-270 everything is good, because you can take a ring, two or all three. In the Macro 2 or 3 rings are then too much of a good thing. I simply hammer out a clear image of what need not necessarily be on the rings.
The 18-270 is with the rings also used freehand (Image Stabilizer), the 90 plus macro ring were a tripod mounted.
For professionals this is certainly nothing but for beginners and occasional amateur photographers as well suited me to experiment.
