Autumn Music at its best

Emiliana Torrini One must concede that it is evolving. I understand their remains exceptionally fragile voice as Ariadne's thread, which once again leads me through a labyrinth of sound and the occasional small detour takes into account to show me something new or become familiar with something initially bulky.
"Me and Armini" is at first listen is certainly not an easy work. But it grows and makes me despite bright sunshine on the autumn. The strengths of the CD are hiding in the second half: "Fire Heads" and the title track appear calm, almost melancholy. But just "Gun" and "Dead Duck" break in a pleasant way and accents. The Outro "Bleeder" leaves a pleasant, warm feeling in my stomach and tempts the CD again play from the beginning.
If you "Me and Armini" anything would be accused, then perhaps that one can not see any single at first listen. However, this is at least for me a rather marginal aspect, because for me Emiliana Torrini has always been more of a music artist, as a "hit single machine".
Already, this CD is definitely for me in the top 5 releases of this year.
