The 20x zoom brings even under good lighting conditions, good results, but you can already see a significant amount of noise. This enlargement of the free hand to take pictures without camera shake is difficult. Here, however, the automatic stabilization function gives good results.
Everything else on the camera is average, the 3-inch display even more among them. The resolution of the display is low, in low light the view therefore acts pixelated and quite noisy. In good light that falls on not so. You can set various shooting situations. In portrait mode faces are well recognized and the camera focuses on those faces. In low light mode, the resolution is automatically lowered. The Fisheye mode does not switch to a super-wide angle, but he only bends the vertical lines. The angle remains the same. In automatic mode, the camera all alone one, one only is targeting the subject and presses the shutter release. To me, this seems to be the optimal mode for this small part.
The battery gave me 102 pictures on a single charge. Granted, I've often zoomed back and forth, focused long, uses the flash and tried many things. Nevertheless me 102 pictures appear rather little. If you want to take more pictures, so you should definitely take advantage of the Eco mode. The image quality is acceptable and the colors are true to life again. 16 megapixels is plenty for such a small device. Perhaps here would have been less. In low light the image quality drops quickly and you can clearly see noise. Another shortcoming can be seen in the video feature that records not Full HD, but only at 720p.
In the number of stars I have fluctuated between three and four, and I finally decided on four. Speak the good resolution with 20x zoom, the WiFi, the small size with good processing, the image quality and the reasonable price of the equipment. In contrast, the weak display, low battery life and the low resolution of the video function speak. The camera is ideal to go to take snapshots.
