Steelseries makes good products from the moment it is not a question of moving cables meant more than 10 centimeters a day: yes, Steelseries made very good mouse pad and quality keyboards. However, I advise you to forget their helmets. I had three personal experiences with this product line: two 5HV2 and Siberia V2. With my friends I've known all around seven bad all similar experiences.
I'll start with the good points of this product: overall, the microphone is very correct, the headset is comfortable to wear to the point where we almost forget (even after hours of use), audio quality is correct for music, good for games, it's a gamer helmet after all. You can easily disassemble the headset into three parts for easy transport.
Now what makes me angry with Steelseries Products: manufacturing quality, particularly the quality of wiring. I have a quite particular care for this kind of products (especially when they cost me), I use provided extension to avoid twisting the cable, I take care not to damage it short: I do everything to keep the product in a maximum state. But always with my two 5HV2: at one time or another I end up with a loose connection: one at the headphone connection, the other at the volume switch, speaking of the volume switch, I had had the same failure on my Siberia V2, as I almost never uses this function of the helmet), the same thing happened to several friends, and what about the Steelseries connectivity impossible to repair headphones For 70 euros you can for more! A friend ordered the 5HV2 there a week he receives and, oh, a listener is faulty on two (the one with the microphone) right out of the box!
This product would be worth for 25-30 euros, but it has definitely not production quality need to pretend to be sold more expensive.
