The opener was for some time to hear yes on the net and even after countless runs makes The Wind That Cried The World still a lot of fun and good humor.
The Phantom Band has remained true, in my opinion, they just stop their thing and that's at least once refreshing. Sometimes simply no giant development necessary as it is often demanded by bands and is also widely expected (by me). When new songs in familiar garb come along and still just as almost all light on this album, then would have to stop simply and lets them go through over and over again. I think you can tell by the songs that they have not arisen from forced to throw something new to the market, but for the joy of making music.
The quotation from Rick Anthony in the Summary of the CD here at Amazon, it is probably true quite accurately.
I'm not a critic-Pope or the absolute analyst regards music. You just have to touch something and trigger in me myself. This has actually quite easily managed this album. That's why this is probably more of a statement than a review.
Well, why do I find Strange Friend now any good?
The two previous albums were a revelation to me and I will hear it again and again gladly. I am pleased that the new album is also well done.
Are responsible for a Scottish accent and the fascinating voice of Rick Anthony, for me just to die for. Secondly, it is the wild style mix of rock, folk and electronics, which accounts for the band and is pretty unique, is formally branding the hearing. Despite all the crankiness I find the songs somehow very catchy.
When here on amazon so looking back, 2 opinions on album The Wants, no somehow sad to Checkmate Savage that these guys did not really deserve. Most underrated because you can only say (I know that I have already written in other bands)
So who is in an unusual music: give em a try!

PS: Anyone who wants to find out how the Phantom Band ticking, should watch their videos on YouTube. The mixture of anarchy and an eye for the very simple things is characterized I think a very good idea ...;)
