I have had this backpack with the coated soil 3 months in use, when I had to complain about him.
The coated ground material was already completely worn through in some places from carrying on their backs. The coated material proved anything but robust, looked very soft, was extremely scratch-prone and could not keep up with the other really high end quality of the backpack.
Crumpler itself has conceded a material error. Whether this error only in my model (red) or generally occurs in the models with the coated material at the bottom, I can not judge. Seen from my point here, the material was too soft and hard wearing.
Otherwise, the backpack proved to be very waterproof (cycling in the rain with laptop), elegant, comfortable, sturdy and well made. On the somewhat meager subdivision inside I got used to after a while, which I really lacked, was a holder for keys.
There is currently a kind of successor to the backpack that looks similar but is not dropped below this coated material. It is expected that this is durable.
