Police recommended for presbyopic microscopic characters. Reading the first pages almost pushed me to abandon reading of the book, but having nothing else at hand, I bravely persisted. It is close to a Simonin to Rap Mode, even a Arsène Lupin elegance frelattée. The hero loves luxury: his living room is furnished in "Despicable FOBOIS" his stereo is a B & O and her wrist is adorned with a Breguet watch. It is not clear whether this is a tourbillon watch, if it is gold ..... Suffice to say that too not imagine a Breguet watch cohabiting with the furniture or the stereo. The entire novel is well constructed, the often grotesque clichés are so numerous that they render petty full exhibition of works by Cartier-Bresson. Improbabilities are becoming more numerous and the last pages are just laughable unless we read the second degree. Despite all these shortcomings it is possible to "hold", except the end, because contrary to popular belief a well ...... ridicule can kill!
