The arrangements on this record I find (other than on the previous albums) economical and mostly succeeded; only the "Rosy Singers" spoil the two songs "Really another year" and "Howdy, Yesterday" by smear their chords cross and much too loud over the Arrangement. So what then came up also; here you have to compress clearly an eye (or ear).
The cover photo, I found a long time a little dusty and asked (typical late sixties flat); However, it has won more for me over the years. Because Mey always plays old songs at his concerts, I would have found it funny if he had taken the example "sales call" to the program at its Klaar Kiming tour; he sang it in 1970: "Write in your notebook for 2003: Do not forget to visit, due to Mr. Mey globe!" But he played "Come pour my glass again an" in recent concerts.
Just a pity that in the booklet only the first verse of "Come pour my glass again a" was reprinted. Too bad also that - as with most other Mey CDs - will be launched still the '87er CD version and can wait to be re-mastering (which was then successfully practiced in the 4-CD box "Above the Clouds" ). All in all, a strong album that a successful preliminary exercise to the next classic trilogy with "I'm out of that wood", "My eighth bay leaf" and must "As before year and a day" apply.
