The diameter of the individual bamboo poles fluctuated greatly. An example: At the bottom of the diameter was about 7-8 mm and in the upper third in only 2-3 mm. This made them useless for my purpose (stable planting rods). The ordered bamboo rods were unhesitatingly withdrawn because of defects.
