Layout of the cabinet:
In the middle section three shelves are included fixed. Left and right shelves can be used as desired. But it contained only three shelves. With the old cabinet there were four. Below there are two drawers.
Assembly:
What has deteriorated compared to the old cabinet is mounting. The old cabinet could be hooked into the anchor, the electrical installation was standing on a ladder from above occur because the terminal block for connecting the top was open when the light cover was removed.
In the new cabinet, the terminal block is only accessible when the cabinet is not mounted. That makes it very difficult to assemble the cabinet, if the existing cable is not very long.
What is good:
* Legal high luminous efficiency. The old cabinet was beige and the light cover slightly darker. Thus, it was always quite dim in the bathroom. The new cabinet, it is much lighter, almost a bit too bright.
* The supplied energy saving lamps (11W cold-setting) are light fast.
What's not so good:
* With the old cabinet more shelves were included.
* Processing is bad
* Plastikgrate on all edges.
* Drawers run very stiff and tilt like.
* All rattles and clatters.
* The installation was unnecessarily complicated.
Conclusion:
The Jokey mirror cabinet Topaz ECO is a simple mirror cabinet, with 8 shelves and two drawers. The build quality is poor, the price is just like that. Compared to previous cabinets less equipment (shelves) and heavier assembly. Very good and bright light.
