I bought the wall bracket from Hama to hang an LCD TV on the wall in my son's room. Now I live in an old house with old walls and accordingly like to point other users to a difficulty which is often not paid on the purchase. The wall bracket from Hama itself is impeccable, neat and super compact. And therein lies the problem for an old building. The four mounting holes for the wall screws are very close together. If now, as in my case, the wall material old and crumbly accordingly, it may happen that only one anchor is positioned in a stable bricks and covered the other three in poor gaps. For quite a heavy 37-inch screen this is not enough because of the leverage forces in close together standing screws and so must be repeatedly drilled may at various points. A larger base plate with a correspondingly greater range of bores are one since more possibilities and also distributes the forces better.
