Here on Amazon I was initially confused by the term "EU-plug" and "universal connector". After I googled it, I push on one side, on the other already discussed this issue and jmd a response from GHD posted: in Germany only German plugs available, and any other would not be authorized. Yesterday I now ordered me to Styler and finally noticed that I have a UK plug to my ghd. Of course, a little confused and disappointed, I decided to return, but also the phone with customer service from Amazon (which is really very friendly), because I wanted the right flat iron with EU plug. The lady was surprised and ordered me a new right. After I had returned supposedly wrong again, I finally googled again and discovered on several pages that you can unscrew these UK plug and hides under that a German, EU plug. Today, the new hair straighteners which however had the same plug than the one I had sent came. So I looked more closely at the plug and screw the "adapter" finally gone. And there he was, the German plug. Nice idea, but it would be very helpful if this were described somewhere! I come not to screw a flat iron from 150 euros somehow by itself on the idea. So do not be disappointed if you have a UK plug for your flat iron, although you have ordered the EU plug. That's why, unfortunately, deliver a star. Otherwise, everything worked, with the mission and the registration with GHD.
