This is my third carafe of this type and it really is the prettiest! Far better than the traditional blue or green that gives a reflection "sick" to water, which I hardly found engaging. This decanter is also very practical, it fits easily in the bottom of the refrigerator and the main part is dishwasher-safe. Remains the main advantage of this product: magnesium to the water enrichment. This is obviously a clear advantage for those looking to get a mineral water rich in magnesium. One drawback: the replacement cartridges are not readily available commercially, at least in my immediate environment ... However, as the manufacturer says it is compatible with brita cartridges, which allows me personally to continue use it as an ordinary filter jug. It is an indispensable tool if your water is hard: just see the white marks that are deposited on the lid to evaluate the ingested calcium levels. Hence my daily use of this kind of carafe for drinking, of course, tea and coffee maker, but also for cooking with water or steam.
