I've played just about 5 hours. But we can already say that the faithful HM fan community can be satisfied again with this installment of the series. Basically everything stays (more animals such as) the same, except for a few subtle changes. The control is thankfully largely on Slide Pad and buttons. The Asset Management has been revised slightly. One can now only tools and seeds in a kind of quick menu to retrieve. All other items must (mM after a bit cumbersome) will "lift" created via the menu and. Here I found the classic "Ring Menu" version of former HM-parts much more comfortable. But do not panic, there is no way to get over and spoils the fun.
The game has been fully localized, diverse spelling and grammatical errors, including ;-)
That the game was originally developed for the Nintendo DS can be seen in any case, even if the 3DS version looks crisp by the higher resolution. What in my opinion but totally went wrong, the 3D effect. Here I have to disagree with the first reviewer. I play this game on the 3DS XL. In 3D mode, it looks like the character hovering over the meadows and paths. Other objects like stones seem to float in the air, instead of lying on the floor. See the rivers in 3D also kind of odd. I can hardly be described, but it looks as if the levels do not fit together somehow. Some protrudes, although it really is right at the back. It is the first game that I only play in 2D on the 3DS. And since it looks but really good.
So who likes Harvest Moon and likes to relax operates some arable and cattle, accesses (especially the fair price). The 3D effect is indeed weak and no profit, but the Game does not become worse, so even full star number :-)
UPDATE: In the 3DS XL this "faulty" 3D effect only occurs when you play on the lowest 3D stage. In full 3D, everything is OK: -D
