The Tamper like it to be very good, take the well like "so" times in the hand. No thread, but in one piece. So a heavy tamper will cost significantly more elsewhere, not to be despised even as a paperweight on the desk. For the dimensions: apparently there is a certain "series dispersion", mine is heavier than previously described here and slightly larger 57.6 mm (measured with slide gauge) (lt 707 g kitchen scale.). This makes it slightly smaller than necessary, which I have not yet perceived as a problem. Would I buy it again.
