Vornerein I found it very nice that Han Solo and Admiral Ackbar are also included. The assembly proved to be fairly straightforward. Even my girlfriend - a Lego layman - it could assemble in about three quarters of an hour. But my goodness, this model has many sticker. DC 16 pieces! The much larger X-Wing has only 12, which also are much less complicated as well, as they are rather small. Most the A-Wing are elongated and often makes it difficult to be stuck even just sitting. What I really liked is in turn that the pilot has two faces - a pugnacious and a frightened. Suitable to be displayed on the bridge of his Cockpitkomputer Executor on a collision course - a little homage to Green Leader of Episode VI. Also quite funny, I find that you can easily take out the energy generator / motor, so that one of the Lego figures with a wrench in hand - also in the set - can work on it. Even an allusion to the power generator of the A-Wings, who was famous for often times make trouble. What, however, could have done a little better the laser cannon: I'm not talking about the fact that they are capable of firing - I think that is well done. I mean the fact that you can not turn sagittal (ie up, down, front, back), what this boat was also famous. Spontaneous and at least 3 opportunities would occur to me how you could implement this.
All in all a nice, detailed and film-like model. Slightly less sticker but might already be, as I then spent more than half of the assembly in order to affix the stickers. Therefore, unfortunately, 2 star deduction.
