It corresponds to the usual high Playmobil-quality - all parts are accurately and there are plenty of loving detail has been implemented. The pirate crew is nice to look at and there's even a cabin boy. What I also liked the sailing of a kind of paper and the tau (= string) which spans the sails from bow to stern.
So far so good.
However, there are also a few negative points, which is why I (as compared to the other Playmobil pirate ships) and finally two stars have withdrawn:
- The four cannon flaps and cannons on each side are only dummies. There are still contained two functional guns, these are then placed separately loose on deck.
- The ship floats out of the box NOT! Since it has installed no weight in the hull or keel, it capsizes immediately. Such weight must be purchased separately and then each time to mount an extra down. Sorry, since the vessels are often taken in the bathtub with us, it was dissolved completely unfavorable.
- The small lift crane is relatively unstable
In addition, it strikes me that now really is all plastic. Previously, certain parts, such as the anchor or hook, made of metal and therefore had a higher weight, which is also necessary for the function. Thus, the anchor rope handles not work properly because the weight of the anchor is missing or the hook of the crane load twists - because here is missing the weight.
If you can live with these shortcomings, the ship is otherwise at a fair price a recommendation for little pirates inside!
