Archos Hotline contacted; Tip: to factory settings. No sooner said than done: no change !! Again hotline; as directed reboot: nothing !! Handy returned and ordered new. Again and again Fast delivery keien detection of the SIM card. To check SIM card back into old smartphone works flawlessly. Another SIM card is inserted: no recognition in the slot. Phone sent back. The star is only for exemplary Hotline (has really tried very hard) and for Amazon because of the uncomplicated return and refund. Pity! Would have been a nice phone for me.
