When I unpacked it I knew already what comes, a plastic cell phone. I am no fan of. I like the phones are of robust construction, for example, my current phone (next to the LG), the Motorola Razr i. Nokia is also built like metal case, however, Nokia has become very slack with regard to the quality of its materials. But that's just my opinion.
As such, the LG is also stable, fits comfortably in your hand, however, the removable adhesive backing is very borderline. If you open to get at the battery, insert the (exclusively) Micro-SIM and / or microSD card, you have to fear they cancel anyway. Although you rarely need so as to go on it, but skepticism remains.
By the way, a notification LED is not here unfortunately.
Fully charge the battery went quite fast, has about 2.5 hours. Lasted. The unloading takes all the more longer, thanks to 2,150 mAh battery. I have the LG since one and a half days in operation, and still almost 40% battery. Excellent, and very suitable for individuals hence the much traveling.
The display is normal middle class, but it offers a good way of looking from side angles. Total has 7 individually configurable surface, one would have to reduce the number one from the homescreen zoom out via finger gesture, you get to see all home screens and can set the desired number (max. 7) and also choose to be what homescreen of the main screen. This one has but also the shortcuts, even those in the bottom bar (Phone, Contacts, SMS and applications or menu) and then you can still drag the top of the screen down, here you can also grab on various programs such as eg calculator, calendar, Bluetooth, NFC, settings, etc.
A gimmick in which LG has me but rather impressed, namely the QSlide. This allows me to open multiple applications, and easily "switches" between them back and forth. One can imagine how the PC, there one can reduce the open window (not minimize) and then virtually next to each place in order to have everything at a glance. Coexistence is indeed the LG does not, eventually the 10,9cm screen also has its limits, but you can put one above the other. A really useful gimmick that particular multitaskers should definitely appeal.
Also pleasantly surprised I was by the 5 MP camera, although I expected from LG is not much, the camera makes it really passable pictures. For "just" on the go or party pictures the camera is to use really good :-)
The sound of the speakers is really good, have been worse had better in smartphones.
What the LG advertises yes, that is it supports LTE. Since I have no LTE, I can not "test" this. What I can confirm however is that I can surf considerably faster 3G network, web pages will load faster, videos load faster etc.
But what also struck me at the reception, which is this is not as good as my Motorola. I have the home 5 bar, I've been using the LG only 3 bars, sometimes just 2. But I will continue to monitor and supplemented accordingly if there still which should result.
As such, the LG is a super smartphone, but the leaves also skepticism in the value of its materials in addition to the excessive price. If the price drops, I can also give 4 stars, but only so. 3
Update: The initial levels of the display is now properly annoying. Once it was the last days of really nice sunny that came right to the fore. In direct sunlight, the cell phone is practically useless, even if it turns away or goes into the shadows is barely visible on the display. The choice of the display for LG was definitely a handle in the toilet ...
Also annoying as proved now the "key lock". Once I get a text message, for example, the display turns a short (only then wipe again and it is unlocked). Since I'm not always mitbekomme get an SMS, or can not always react immediately, the phone remains often times in your pocket. Just stupid that the display is still unlocked in your pocket, running movements ranging already from a wiping motion to imitate. I phoned often beautiful, and countless text messages and even photos sent, all without having taken it out of his pocket ...
Update 12:10:14: In the meantime, the price of F5's highly liked, so I correct my rating from 3 stars to 4 stars formerly. I was even inclined to give 5 stars, but the weaknesses in the last paragraph I consider then but in the standings. I can recommend this smartphone but definitely, especially for beginners who do not want change after half a year.
